Purpose of the study
Ultrasound of lymph nodes allows assessment of the size and structure of lymph nodes. The purpose of the examination is to evaluate enlarged or lesioned lymph nodes.
The result of the test is provided in the form of a description immediately after the test.
Preparation for the study
No special preparation is required.
The test is performed on patients of all ages, is painless, and can be repeated many times without exposing the patient to harmful radiation.
