Joint ultrasound
Purpose of the study
Joint ultrasound is performed to diagnose pathological changes within a specific joint.
Indications: pain, restricted mobility, limitations of muscle strength and range of motion in the joint, inflammation or trauma in the joint.
The test is performed on patients of all ages, is painless and can be repeated several times.
The result of the ultrasound examination of the joint is provided in the form of a description immediately after the examination.
Preparation for the study
The study requires no special preparation.
