Importance of the study:
On the basis of the presence of autoantibodies, it is possible to carry out etiological differential diagnosis in patients with type 1 diabetes.
This is of particular practical importance in the case of the diagnosis of autoimmune type 1 diabetes in adults,
in whom the clinical course of the disease often differs from that in children and adolescents (LADA diabetes).

Preparation of the material:
The material for testing is blood taken for clotting.
Serum can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Frozen up to 30 days.
